Cost Price of wall clock Rs.1820

Cost Price of watch Rs.3250

Solution:

Given:

Total purchased price of wall clock and watch = Rs.5070

Profit on wall Clock = 10 %

Profit on watch = 15 %

Total Profit = Rs.669.50

Let price of watch = B

Let price of clock = 5070 – B

(B \times 15 \%)+[(5070-B) \times 10 \%]=669.5

0.15B + 507 - 0.10B = 669.5

0.05B + 507 = 669.5

0.05B = 669.5 - 507= 162.5

B = \frac{162.5}{0.05}  = 3250

Price of clock = 5070 - 3250 = 1820

Price of watch = 3250

Answer:

C.P of wall clock =1820

C.P of watch =3250

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

Total purchased price of wall clock and watch = Rs.5070

Profit on wall Clock = 10 %

Profit on watch = 15%

Total Profit = Rs.669.50

Let price of watch = x

Let price of clock 5070-x

(x x 15%) + [(5070 - x) x 10%]= 669.5

0.15x + 507 -0.10x = 669.5

0.05x + 507 = 669.5

0.05x = 669.5-507 = 162.5

x = 162.5/0.05 = 3250

Price of clock = 5070 - 3250 = 1820

Price of watch 3250
