Also find the rail distance covered by them. (Rail distance is the actual distance covered by both the trains wrt ground)

relative velocity is

Vab=Va+Vb

54+36=90km/h=25m/s

distance=100+80=180m

velocity=distance/time

time=distance/velocity

time=180/25=7.2sec
