A train 100 meters long running at a speed of 60 k.M. Per hour takes 30 seconds to cross a bridge. Find out the length of the bridge

Answer:

Length of the train=100m

speed of the train=60km/hr

=60*5/18=50/3km/hr

Let length of the bridge=X

so

30=(100+X)/(50/3)=

     (300+3x/50)

50*30=300+3x

1500=300+3x

3x=1200

X=1200/3=400

length of the bridge=400m
