hello friend...!!!

we should calculate the total time taken by the train to cross the 1 km bridge .

⇒ S = 1 km + 100 m ( bridge + train length )

⇒ S = 1000 + 100 = 1100 m

velocity = 60 km / hr = 60 x 1000 / 3600 m/s

velocity = 16 . 6 m / s

according to the general formula of velocity , we know ,

velocity = distance / time taken

time taken = distance / velocity

time =  1100 / 16.6

time = 66.2 seconds.

Answer:

66.3seconds

Explanation:

distance to cross the bridge =length of train +length of bridge=100+1000=1100

velocity =60kmph=16.6m/s

w. k. t

v=d/t

t=d/v

t=1100/16.6=66.26=66.3
