A train, 110 m long, is running at a speed of 60 km/hr. How many seconds does it take to cross another train, 170 m long, standing on parallel track ?
A. 15.6 sec
B. 16.8 sec

Total distance to travel = 110+170 = 280m = 0.28km

Velocity = 60km/hr

Time taken = Distance/Velocity

= 0.28/60 hr

= 0.28 min = 0.28×60s = 16.8s

Hence option (B) is the correct answer
