running at 6 km/hr in the direction opposite to that in which the train is going?

Distance= 110 metres=110/1000=11/100km

Speed= speed of Man + speed of train=60 + 6 = 66km/hour.

Time=?

Time=distance/time

=(11/100)/66 =(11/100)*(1/66) =1/600 hour.

(1/600)*3600 =6 second.
