Train speed 54×5/18=15m/s

120+180=300 m

300/15=20sec

Answer :

The time taken by the train is 20 s

Step-by-step explanation:

The length of the train = 120 m

Speed of the train = 54 km/h = 15 m/s

The length of the bridge = 180 m

The total distance that train has to run to cross the bridge =

120 + 180 = 300 m

Speed = \frac{Distance}{time}

Time = \frac{Distance}{Speed}

         = \frac{300}{15}

Time = 20 s

Therefore time taken by the train is  20 s
