A train 150 meters long and running at a speed of 45 kmph crossed a bridge in 48 seconds. Because the train halted on the bridge it took 30 seconds more to cross the bridge. What is the length of the bridge?

length of the train =150m
speed=45km/hr =45*5/18= 12 9/18=225/18m/sec
time =48sec =48-30=18 sec
distance =speed*time
= 225/18*18
=225 m
therefore,225-150
=75 m .Ans
