We use the formula velocity = displacement over time. i.e. v = d/t and rearrange it to find the unknown, t.

The velocity is 60km/hr = 60 km/60 min = 1km/min (for simplicity)

To travel 1km (i.e. the front of the train to reach the end of the bridge from the starting pt).

t = d/v = 1km/(1km/min) = 1 min.

However if you want the entire train to cross the end of it, you need to add an extra 100 m (0.1 km) to this figure (since the train is 100 m long).

t = 1.1 km/(1km/min) = 1.1 min = 66 seconds.
