I assume that platform is 160m long.

Total distance to be covered=Length of the platform+length of the trainx2(because train has to cover its length at the start of platform and then at the end)

=(240+160x2)m

=560m=560/1000 km=0.56km

time=distance/speed

=0.56/90 hr

=0.006hr (approx)

=0.006x60x60 sec

=2.16sec
