Distance for crossing the pole = Length of the train = 250m
Time = 10s
We have distance and time so we can calculate the speed
Speed = Distance/Time
=> Speed = 250/10
=> Speed = 25m/s
In second case,
Speed = 25m/s (as we calculated above)
Time = 25s
So total distance = Speed × time
= 25 × 25
= 625m
But the total distance = length of train + length of bridge
=> 625 = 250 + length of bridge
=> length of bridge = 625 - 250
=> length of bridge = 375m
Answer :- 375m

hy friend
here is your solution
first step is
∴ Time = 10 seconds
∴ Distance = 250m
calculate formula
Speed = Distance/time
Speed = 250/10
speed = 25m/s
Now in case of bridge
t = 25seconds,
Speed = 25m/s
→ Distance = length of train + length of bridge
distance travelled = Speed × time
= 25 × 25 = 625metre
second step is
→ distance = length of train + length of bridge (since the train crosses the bridge, its own length will also be added to get distance)
= 250 + length of bridge = 625
= length of bridge
= 625 - 250
= 375m
so
Length of bridge is 375m
thankyou
