A train 270 m long is running at 80 km /hr . How many much time will it take to cross a platform 130m long ?

Total Distance to be covered =
Length of the train + length of the platform
=270m+130m
=400m

Speed=80 km/hr
=80*5/18m/s
=400/18m/s

Time taken = Distance/Speed
=400m÷(400/18 m/s)
=400*18/400 s
=18 s.

Therefore the trainwill take 18 seconds to cross the platform.
