GIVEN :

A train crossed an electric pole in = 28 seconds

Length of the train = 350m

Speed of the train = ?

We know that,

Speed = Distance/Time taken

Speed = 350/28

Speed = 12.5m/s

The speed is in m/s. We should change it into kmph.

So, multiply 12.5 with 18/5

= 12.5 × 18/5

= 125/10 × 18/5

= 25/10 × 18

= 450/10

= 45kmph

Therefore, the speed of train is 45kmph.

\mathbb{\underline{\huge{\boxed{\red{Answer = 45 \: Km/hr}}}}}

\mathfrak{\underline{\large{\blue{Explantion}}}}

Distance ( Across the electric pole) = 350 m.....(i)

Time = 28 sec.....(ii)

A.T.Q,

Put these values in formula

Speed = 350/28

= 12.5m/s

(Convert it to Km/h by multiplying with 18/5)

= 125/10* 18/5

= 450 / 10

= 45 Km/hr
