a train 400m long is travelling at a speed of 45 km/h . how long will it take to cross an electric pole.​

~Solution :-

Speed of the train = 45 kmph

 \to \sf{ \frac{(45 \times 1000 )}{( 60 \times 60)}= ( \frac{45000}{3600}) =12.5 m/s} \\

  • Here, Train crossing pole means crossing its own length.

Thus,

Time taken to cross the pole;

 \to \sf{ \frac{ (400 m) }{ (12.5 m/s)}  =  \bf \red{32 seconds }} \\

  • Hence, the time to travel the pole will be  \tt{32 second}.
