Distance travelled by the train in 1 hour = 60 km

Distance travelled by the train in 1 min = 60/60=1 km

Distance travelled by the train in 90 sec = 1+0.5=1.5 km

So the length of the bridge = Distance travelled by the train in 90 sec + length of the train = 1.5 km + 600m = 1500m  +600m = 2100m

Answer:

Length of the bridge = 900 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Speed of the Train = 60 km/h = 60* 1000/3600 = 60*5/18 = 50/3 m/s

Length of the Train = 600 m

Length of the Bridge = ?

Time Taken by Train to Pass the Bridge = 90 s

Use Formula,

Speed = Distance/ Time

50/3=  Length of the Train + Length of the Bridge/ Time Taken

50/3 =  600 +L/ 90

50/3*90 = 600+L

1500-600 = L

900 m = L

Length of the bridge = 900 m
