Given Speed of man = 5kmph = 5 ×5/18 mps = 25/18 mps

Length of train = 225m

Time taken to cross man = 10 s

Since length of man is negligible,

Distance covered while crossing man = length of train=225m

Let the speed of train be ‘ mps

Relative speed of train w.r.t. man = x-25/18 mps

Speed = Distance/time

a-25/18 = 225/10

a= 22.5 + 25/18 mps

a = 22.5 + 1.39 mps

a = 23.89 mps = 27.504 kmph
