A train accelerates from 20 km h to 80 km h in 4 minutes. How much distance does it cover in this time period? Assume that the tracks are straight

Using, v = u + at
80 = 20 + a*4/60
a = 60/15 = 900 km/h^2

Now, s = ut + 1/2* a*t^2
S = 20*4/60 + 1/2 * 900* 4/60 * 4/60
S = 4/3 + 1/5 = 23/15 km = 1.53km
