Explanation:

Find a) Accelaration b) The distance travelled by a car Acceleration a = (v - u)/t = (15 - 10)/10 = 5/10 = 0.5 m/s2.

Given : Initial Velocity (u) = 35 km/h = 10 m/s

            Final Velocity (v) = 54 km/h = 15 m/s

            Time(t) = 10 sec

To Find : Distance travelled (s)

Solutions :

v = u + a*t

15 = 10 + 10a

a = 0.5 m/s^{2}

v^{2} - u^{2} = 2as

225 - 100 = 2*0.5*s

125 = s

s = 125 m

Distance travelled by car is 125 m
