A train accelerates uniformly from 36 kilometer per hour to 72 kilometer per hour in 20 second. find the distance travelled by it.

u = 36kmph = 36×5/18 = 10m/s
v = 72 kmph = 72×5/18 = 20 m/s
t = 20 second
using first equation of motion
v= u+at
20 = 10+20a
10/20 = a
1/2 = 0.5 m/s² = a
therefore , using second equation of motion
s=ut +1/2at²
s = 10(20)+1/2 × 0.5 × 400
s = 200 + 100 = 300m
