Answer: Distance covered = 150 m

Explanation:

Initial velocity u = 36 km/h = 36 x 5/18 = 10 m/s

Final velocity v = 72 km/h = 72 x 5/18 = 20 m/s

acceleration a = (v-u)/t = (20-10)/ 10 = 1 m/s²

Distance covered  s = ut + 1/2 at²

                                 = 10x 10 + 1/2 x 1 x 100

                                 = 100 + 50

                                 = 150m
