Given :-

  • Initial velocity = 36 Km/h
  • Final velocity = 72 Km/h
  • Time taken = 10 sec

------------------------------------------------------------

To Find :-

  • Acceleration of the train

------------------------------------------------------------

Solution :-

Firstly we have to convert velocity of train from Km/hr to m/s

→ 36 Km/hr = 36/3.6 = 10 m/s

→ 72 Km/hr = 72/3.6 = 20 m/s

Acceleration of the train :-

\longmapsto \sf a = \frac{20 - 10}{10} \\

\longmapsto \sf a = \frac{10}{10} \\

\longmapsto \sf a = 1 \: {ms}^{ - 2} \\
