If a train runs at the speed of 40m/s then by travelling 100m

Speed = Distance÷Time

Speed = 100÷40

Speed = 2.5 s

Therefore, the speed of train is 2.5 s.

MARKSMASH007: your SI unit is wrong. time SI unit is seconds (sec).

time =velocity ÷distance

that is, t =v/d

t =40/100

t =4/10

t =2/5

therefore,

time taken = 2.5 sec.

Ans :(t =2.5 sec)
