According to the given condition, we havE

xy=(x+10)(y-2)

xy=xy-2x+10y-20

and

xy=(x-10)(y+3)

xy-10y-30+3x=30

=>-10y+3x=30                              ........(2)

solving (1( and (2), we get,

x=50

y=12

Hence, the distance covered by the train=xy
