A train covered a certain distance at a uniform speed. if the train would have bees 6 km/hr faster it would have taken 8 hrs less than the scheduled time. If the train were slower by 6 km/hr it would have taken 12 hours more than the scheduled time. Find the length of the journey.

s=speed, d=distance, t=time
s+6=d/t-8
s-6=d/t+12
so s+6/s-6=t-8/t+12
=s²-36=t²+4t-96
=s²+60=t²+4t
s+6=d/t-8
s-6=d/t+12
so s+6/s-6=t-8/t+12
=s²-36=t²+4t-96
=s²+60=t²+4t
