1 km =1000 m

=> 1 m = 1/1000 km

Now,

Distance => 24000 m ÷1000 = 24 km

And

1 hour = 60 min = 60×60 seconds= 3600 seconds

=> 1 sec = 1/ 3600 hours

Then ,

Time =>300 sec = 300÷ 3600 = 1/ 12 hours

Speed = Distance / Time

Speed = 24 ÷ 1/12 = 24 × 12 = 288 km/hour

Shortcut

Speed = Distance / Time

Speed = 24000/ 300 = 80 m/s

= > 80 × 18/5 = 288 km/hour
