Answer:

So the formula for the velocity of something is v=s/t. There are two ways of calculating the velocity of the motorcycle.

The first, and probably easiest, way is to converse the distance of the route traveled and the time that has passed while traveling from kilometers and hours to meters and seconds.

An other way is to calculate the velocity in km/h and to divide the answer by 3,6 (1km = 1.000m and 1h = 3.600s, 1.000/3.600 = 3,6). This will leave you the answer in m/s.

First way:

450km = 450.000m

5h = 5x 3.600s =18.000s

v = s/t = 450.000 / 18.000 = 25m/s

Other way:

v= s/t = 450 / 5 = 90 km/h

90 / 3,6 = 25 m/s

The motorist has a velocity of 25 m/s.

Answer:

90 km per hour , 25 meter per second

Explanation:

Speed=distance/time

speed =450/5 =90km/hr

To change in meter, multiply it with 5/18

90×5/18 =25 meter per second
