Answer:

let us consider it to be in uniform speed

Distance covered =550km

time taken=2hrs

so speed would be=distance /time

=550/2 km/hr

Distance covered in 78/11 hrs will be =(550/2)*78/11

=1950kms.

Answer :-

Distance covered by car in 2 hours = 550 km

∴ Distance covered in 1 hour = 550/2 = 275 km

Now, we are asked that distance covered by car in 7 + 1/11 hours, So by multiplying the number of hours by distance covered in 1 hours, we can get distance covered in given hours.

Distance covered in 7 + 1/11 hours = \sf 7 \frac{1}{ 11} \times 275

\sf = \frac{78}{\cancel{11}} \times \cancel {27}5

\sf = 78 \times 25

\sf = 1950

Distance covered in 7 1/11 hours = 1950 km
