Total distance  travelled by Train = 70 + 40+ 50 = 160 km

Total time taken to travel 160 km = 1 + 0.5 +0.7 = 2.2 hrs

Average speed = total distance/total time taken

                         = 160/2.2

                         = 72.7 km/hr

as we know that average speed = total distance / total time taken
