use formula speed=distance/time
speed=48km/hr
time=59 minutes
48=distance/59
d=59*48=2832
40minutes will be reduced then??
48=59
?=40
48*40/59
32.54

Total distance= 48×(59÷60)
Now time is reduced to 40 min=(40÷60)hour

48×(59÷60).
speed= ---------------- = 60.8 km/hr
(40÷60)
