Hey mate ^_^

Here:-

Distance = 10 km

Time = 12 min = 12/60 = 1/5 hrs

Speed = 50 km/hr

Speed is decreased by 5 km/hr

Now,

New speed = 50 - 5 = 45 km/hr

Distance = 10 km

Time = Distance / Speed

Time = 10 / 45 = 2/9 hrs

Therefore,

Required time = 10/45 hr

= 2/9 × 60

= 40/3

= 13.33

Heya Mate !!!

Your Answer is ; 40/3 minutes.

≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈

Step By Step Explanation ;-

≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈

Given ;

Time = 12 minutes.

12 minutes = 12/60 hours = 15 hours.

=> Speed of Train = 10÷1/5 = 50 km/hr.

=> New Speed = 50 - 5 = 45 km/hr.

Hence , Required Time = Distance/Speed

=> 10/45 = 2/9 hours.

=> 2/9*60 = 40/3 minutes.

Hence , 40/3 minutes is the right answer.
