A train covers a distance of 250km in 2 hrs and an aeroplane covers a distance of 750 km in 3 hrs. find the ratio of the speed of train to aeroplane.

We know That,

⇢ One hour = 250/2 = 125km

Aeroplane

Aeroplane covers a distance of 750km in 3 hours

⇢ One hour = 750/3 = 250km

Now , Finding the ratio of the speed of train to aeroplane

⇢ Train : Aeroplane = 125 : 250

Now , we have to simplify

⇢ Train : Aeroplane = 125/ 125 : 250/125

⇢ Train : Aeroplane = 1 : 2

Hence , The ratio of the speed of train to aeroplane is 1 :2
