Please find below the solution to the asked query:

The force per tonne (frictional force)

F = 10 N

Total mass of the wagon  =  60 x 25 = 1500 tonnes

while the force of friction for 1500 tonnes will be 10 x 1500 = 15000 N

the velocity of the mass is 72 kmph which is 72 x (5/18) =20 m/s

hence the power developed by the engine is P = Force x velocity

P = 15000 x 20 = 300000 watts
