Let speed of train be v = 72 km/hr

and velocity of monkey w,r,t to ground (u) = 90 km/hr

To convert km/hr to m/s we multiply it from \frac{5}{36}.

∴    v = 10 m/s

and u=12.5 m/s.

Let, velocity of monkey w.r.t observer sitting in the train be x.

x = u+v .

x = 22.5 m/s if the train and monkey are running in opposite direction.

The relative speed will be more.

OR

x = u-v .

x = 2.5 m/s if the train and monkey are running in the same direction.

The relative speed will be less.
