Though the bridge is 500m long the train itself is 100 metres long so total distance covered by the train would be

(500+100)m =600m

now speed of the train = (5 ×5/18)m/s

therfore time taken = distance/speed

600/(5/18) = (600×18)/5 = 120 × 18 = 2160seconds

in hours = 2160/3600 =0.6 hours

please check if the answer is correct and tell me

cheers :)
