speed = 100 km / hr

time = ?

distance = 20 km

speed = distance / time

100 = 20 / time

100 x 20 = time

2000 = time

Answer:

Speed  \: of \:  the \:  train = 100 km/ hr \\ </p><p>Distance \:  travelled \:  = 20 km \\ </p><p>Time \:  taken =  \:  \frac{Distance \:  travelled}{Speed  \: of \:  the \:  train }   \\  =  \frac{20}{100}  \\  =  \frac{1}{5}  \: hour \\  =  \frac{1 }{5}  \times 60 \\  = 12 \: minutes
