GIVEN :

Distance, d = 100 m

Time, t = 5 Seconds

TO FIND :

Speed of the train = ?

FORMULA :

S = \frac {d}{t}

Here,

S → Speed

d → distance

t → time

SOLUTION :

To Calculate the speed of the train,

Speed = \frac {distance}{time}

Speed = \frac {100}{5}

Speed = 20 m/sec.

\therefore The speed of the train is 20 m/sec.

Answer:20m/sec

Explanation: As we know that the formula of velocity is distance travel/time taken so.

Train travel 100m and reach the station in 5s.so distance traveled 100m and time take 5s so as per the formula velocity is 100 m/5s =20m/s
