a train is moving with a constant velocity of 45 km/hour. A passenger on the train drops a ball from a height 3 m normally to the direction of motion of the train,at the speed of 5 m/s. Find the velocity at which the ball strikes the ground.

h=3m v^2-u^2=2as

u=5m/s v^2=2gh+u^2

v=? v^2=2(10)(3)+5^2

v^2=60+25=85

v=root of 85=9.21
