Distance = speed x time

Distance = speed x time

Speed = 45000 m/ 60 min (or )

Time = 1 second
Distance = speed x time
= (45000 / 3600) x 1
= 45000 / 3600
= 12.5 metres
∴ the train travels 12.5 m in 1 second.
