Given :-

  • Acceleraton = 2 m/s²
  • Initial Velocity = u = 18 km/h
  • Final Velocity = v = 54 km/h

To Find :-

Distance Covered = s

Formula Used :-

  • v² - u² = 2as

Solution :-

Step 1 : To convert km/h into m/s multiply by 5/18

  • 18 km /h = 18 × 5/18 = 5 m/s
  • 54 km/h = 54 × 5/18 = 15 m/s

Step 2 : Apply Second Equation of motion.

v² - u² = 2as

⇛15² - 5² = 2× 2 × s

⇛225 - 25 = 4s

⇛200 = 4s

⇛s = 200 ÷ 4

⇛s = 50 m

Distance = 50 m
