A train is running at 20 m per second on a railway line with radius of curvature 40,000 meter. The distance between the two rails is 1.5 metre for safe running of train the elevationof outer rail over the inner rail is (g=10m/S2)

tan θ = v^2/( rg) = 20*20/(40000*9.8)

From this θ = 0.0585
sin θ = 0.0585 = h/1.5

h = 0.00153 m
======================

h = 0.0015m
