Hello mate.

Thanks for asking this question.

Your answer is =

The average velocity of the train is the total velocity times the relative time period per total time taken.

So we calculate the average velocity of the train by following relation =>

Average velocity = summation of {velocity×time} ÷ total time

Average velocity = { 60×4 + 80×2 } ÷ { 4+2}

Average velocity = 400 ÷ 6 = 66.67 km/hr

Average velocity of the train is 66.67 Km/hr.
