V = 72km/hr = 72*5/18 m/s

= 20m/s

T = 25s

Now length of the train is equal to distance covered

D = V*T

= 20*25 = 500m

Hence length of train is 500m

Answer:

Option(D) - 500 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Speed of the train = 72 km/hr.

                              = 72 * (5/18)

                              = 20 m/sec.

Given, Time taken by the train to cross the pole = 25 seconds.

Therefore, Length of the train = 25 m/sec * 20 sec

                                                  = 500 m.

Hope it helps!
