speed = 4.2km/hr
time=12 minutes or 0.2 hours
we know that
Distance=speed *time
=42.5*0.2
=8.5km.

Velocity= distance/ time

So distance= velocity * time

Since velocity is in kmph, we will convert it in SI unit ie m/s. So, 42.5kmph= 42.5*1000/3600

To reduce calculation, do not solve this, leave it like that so that it may be cancelled afterwards.

Now we will also change time in SI unit ie second

12 min= 12* 60 sec

Now, according to the relation between velocity and distance in the first sentence,

Distance= (42.5*1000*12*60)/(60*60)

Distance is 8500metre or 8.5km.
