RELATIVE VELOCITY = 40-25 = 15 KMPH

CHANGING KMPH INTO MS

THAT IS,

15×5/18 = 75/18 = 25/6 M/S.

VELOCITY×TIME = LENGTH

 \frac{25}{6} \times 48 = 25 \times 8 = 200 \: metres

LENGTH OF TRAIN IS 200 METRES.
