Answer:

A) 600 km B) 120km C) 9 hour

Explanation:

Given,

A)speed of the train = 120km/hr

Time= 5hour

so distance covered = 120*5=600km

b) speed =120km/hour

time= 1 hour

distance covered = 120km

c) distance = 720km

speed is reduced to 80km/hour

i.e= speed= 80km/hour

so, time =distance/speed

=> 720/80

=> 9 hour

Hope it helps you :)

Answer:

Hey friend,

Distance covered in 5 hours=600 km.

Distance covered in 1 hour=120 km.

It will take 9 hours to cover 720 km if the speed is reduced to 80km/hr.

Explanation:

Distance covered in 5 hours=120×5

=600 km.

Distance covered in 1 hour=120×1

=120 km.

Time taken to cover 120 km=1 hour

Therefore, time taken to cover 720 km=720÷80

=9km/hr
