Answer:

Given

u=90km/hr

v=0

a = 0.5

convert km/hr into m /s

90 multiply 5/8 =25m/s

v^2 =u^2+2as

Using the equation

0 = (25)^2 +2 (-0.5) (s)

0=625 -(s)

-s =625

Distance travelled by train befor stopping =625m
