Answer:

625 m

Explanation:

Given,

u= 90 km/h convert into m/s

so, multiply it with 5/18

now, u= 25 m/s

V=0 m/s

a=-0.5 m/s^2

So, we need to find the time first,

By using 1st equation of motion,

v=u+at

0=25+(-0.5)(t)

0=25-0.5 t

+0.5t=25

t=25/0.5

t= 50 seconds.

Now we found that time is 50 seconds

Now finally we should want to find the distance.

By using 2nd equation of motion,

s=ut+1/2at^2

s=25(50)+1/2(-0.5)(50)^2

s=1250+1/2(-0.5)(2500)

s=1250-0.5(1250)

s=1250-625

s=625 m

Hope it is helpful.
