Initial velocity of the train- 90 km/h or 25 m/s

Final velocity- 0 m/s

Acceleration- 0.5 m/s²

So,

2as= v²-u² [Here s is distance]

2(0.5)(s)= 0²-25²

s= -625= 625 m [Distance can never be negative]
