Answer: 16 kmph

Hi Bro,

Explanation:

in this question you have to use the formula speed =distance

                                                                                       ~~~~~~~~~~
                                                                                       time
so
speed=150
distance=2.4=24000m
so
2400/150=speed of the train(avg)
2400/150=80/5=16
So the (avg) speed of the train is 16kmph
Given:
Speed = 150 km/h
Time = 2.4 hours.
To find:
Distance traveled by the train.
Solution:
Speed = 150 km/h
Time = 2.4 hours.
Distance = ?
We know that,
Speed = \dfrac{distance}{time}
∴ Distance  = ( Speed × Time)
                  = (150×2.4)
                  =(15×24)
                    = 360 km.
∴ In 2.4 hours the train will travel a distance of 360 km.
Answer:
          The train will travel a distance of 360 km.
