First, we will find the distance traveled by the train in 45 minutes at 80 km/h.

We know, Distance = Speed × Time.

Speed = 80 km/h.

Time = 45 min = 45/60 hr = 3/4 hours.

So, by using the formula, we get,

Distance = 80 * (3/4) = 20*3 = 60 km/h.

In the second part of the question it is told that how much time will it take to cover the same distance, with speed increase by 10 km/h.

Therefore, new speed = 80+10 = 90 km/h. And distance is again 60 km.

Therefore, Time = Distance ÷ Speed. By putting the values in the above formula, we get,

Time = 60 km ÷ 90 km/h.

Time = (2/3) hours. = (2/3)*60 = 40 min.

Therefore, the train will take exactly 40 minutes to cover the distance at 90 km/h.
